Large Diameter Bar Wrapped Steel Cylinder (BWSC) pipes

Now for cooling water circulation pipe line!

In addition to its established acceptance as most economical pipe line material for gravity or pumping in water supply schemes, now the Bar Wrapped Steel Cylinder (BWSC) pipe is successfully used for circulation water system. For the given conditions and technical data the BWSC pipe is designed for internal pressure and overburden. BWSC pipe is a custom designed pipe and can be manufactured as per the exact requirements with necessary factor of safety. This naturally results in technical and quality aspects at par with the requirements. The weld type overlap joint protected with cement mortar, makes the joint highly resistant to corrosion. 

BWSC Pipes of  Diameter 1800 mm are in use for circulation water pipeline for their 220 MW BAPL, Samalkot Combined Cycle Power Project. The work comprising of supplying, laying, jointing, testing of 635 Meter long BWSC pipes, was completed in the scheduled time to the entire satisfaction of the authority
