R C C Pipe Plant at Baghdad - Iraq, for storm water drainage   --  1980
Client : Mitsui Ocean Development & Engineering Co. Ltd.

The company successfully executed a major contract involving manufacture of heavy duty RCC Pipes, which were intended for the storm water drainage system of Baghdad. Out of the total manufactured pipes, over 7500 pipes were of diameter 2000mm and above. Some of these pipes where installed at site by jacking. 8400 pipes were provided with PVC lining, immediately after spinning as those were carrying corrosive effluent.

Operation of concrete sleeper factory at SAMAWA, IRAQ --  1981
Client : INDIAN RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LTD. (IRCON)
IHP was awarded a work for the Technical Know-how  for operation of a Concrete Sleeper Factory, for construction of Sections 3 & 4 of the Mussayeb - Kerbala -Najaf - Kufa - Samawa Railway Project for the New Railways Implementation Authority, Ministry of Transport and Communication, Republic of IRAQ. As sub-contractors of The Indian Railway Construction Company Ltd., New Delhi,  IHP  has successfully completed the work ahead of schedule.
 
Sleeper Project at ABU-GHRAIB , Baghdad   ---  1985
Client : DOW MAC Concrete Ltd., England
Prestressed Concrete railway sleepers were produced by IHP in technical collaboration with the world renowned DOW MAC Concrete Ltd. When Dow Mac secured a huge contract for sleepers in Baghdad,  Dow Mac entrusted the work of operation of one of the biggest sleeper producing plant in the world, to IHP. IHP not only operated the plant efficiently with its work force, but established a world record by producing 2250 sleepers per day.
